Now that things are slowing down a bit after the Christmas holidays, hopefully we can catch our breath around here. Whew. Now we’re off and running again!

Iron Man #5 – Yes, it finally ships, ladies and gentlemen. This is the limited series everyone though had fallen off the wagon or something, but it’s back, and it features the brilliant, computerized art work of Adi Granov. Most excellent.

Marvel Zombies #2 – If the first issue of this series really freaked you out like it did the rest of us, maybe you’ll want to pick this issue up too. I don’t really know what else to say about this limited series; it’s like a bad car wreck that you can’t help but look at, no matter how much it disgusts you.

Sable & Fortune #1 – Silver Sable is back in her own limited series – hopefully it’ll be worth reading. I don’t actually know this time around. I really enjoyed her ongoing series from about 10 years back, but I’ve got a bad feeling from this book. I’ll check it out though and let you know if my gut instinct is correct. Or you can read it and let me know. Either way.

Star Wars: Purge One-Shot – The Star Wars universe is about to be cut down from the myriad books that are now out there to just two. This isn’t one of those two, but I thought you guys might like that interesting bit of trivia.

Superman/Shazam: First Thunder #3 – Josh Middleton’s art on this series is beautiful; it’s worth picking this book up for the art alone. Also, it features Superman and Captain Marvel, slugging it out like the hugerific bruisers they are. Wouldn’t want to get in the middle of that…

X-Men: The 198 Files – After M-Day, there are only a few mutants left on the planet, and we’re getting files on all of them. This ought to help everyone keep track of who is left and who has powers. Did The Scarlet Witch leave some mutants ‘powered’ on purpose? If so, how did she choose whose powers to leave and whose to take away? Hmm…

Also, come down Friday night for Magic: The Gathering! We’re running a Ravnica draft tournament again, and they’ve been smash hits so far. And they’re fun too. You know you like to have fun…

See you at Haven!

Hey,

Can you guys post an email address that your box holders could send an email to, requesting certain titles be added or removed from their box?

that way I could simply copy from your list of titles on the blog and paste it into an email!

Hello from across the country! Andrea and I are now in Seattle and are about to get our apartment. It has been a long strange trip full of Roswell aliens and gambling ka-nig-its. We miss you guys and look forward to hearing from you!
