Boys #1 – This new series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson is sure to be violent, disgusting, intriguing, and down-right good. It’s not that these guys never miss; they just don’t miss often and they haven’t missed lately. This series is going to be GOOD. What’s it about? Who cares?! If you liked Trasmetropolitan or Preacher, this will likely be in the same vein.

Claws #1 – This new limited series from Marvel stars the unlikely duo of Wolverine and…the Black Cat?! Joseph Michael Linsner, creator of the fan-favorite Dawn character, is holding the reins on this series; so sit back and watch these guys get into all sorts of mischief. Enjoy!

Fevre Dream Preview – Most everyone up at Haven knows of my enduring and abiding love for George RR Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series of novels. This is a comic adaptation of one of his earlier, award-winning works, and the preview issue is only 99 cents. You can’t go wrong with that.

Monte Cook’s Ptolus #1 – If you missed it the first time around, which most folks did, now’s your chance to check it out again. You absolutely must pick this book up. If you are even remotely a fan of the Fantasy genre, this book will be right up your alley. This is a great Dabel Brothers title, and I highly recommend it!

Rex Mundi #1 Dark Horse Edition – Rex Mundi has moved from Image to Dark Horse, and they’re starting over with the numbering system. Now is a good time to get into this awesome, alternate history series if you haven’t picked it up yet. Great book!

Savage Brothers #1 – It’s a post-apocalyptic world out there, and these brothers are just trying to make a living the best way they know how. This looks to be a funny take on how a pair of rednecks manage to survive and – dare I say it? – thrive in a world that’s just gone to hell. Definitely worth checking out.

Ultimate Fantastic Four Annual #2 – Last year’s Ultimate annuals were fantastic events, and this year’s look to be just as good. Ultimate Spider-Man Annual #2 came out last week, and was very, very much what I expected: freakin’ excellent. This week’s Ultimate FF annual looks just as great; pick it up and give it a whirl!

See you at Haven!
