300 HC – Frank Miller’s classic tale, based on a true story (with a little classic Frank Miller improvisation, of course) of 300 Spartans who held off thousands of their enemies in the face of impossible odds, is a soon-to-be-released major motion picture. The hardcover is finally available again, and you can get it at Haven. You know you want it.

All Star Superman #6 – Notable for the fact that this book is finally coming out, all you Superman fans are going to want to snatch this up – so come and get it!!

Avengers: Kree/Skrull War TP – This book from the ‘70s is one of the landmark events in Marvel history. Two alien empires clash in a galactic battle, and Earth is right in the middle of the battleground, at the mercy of these technologically superior races – except for a handful of superheroes who fight to keep the earth from being annihilated. You should definitely own this!

Civil War #6 – Finally! The penultimate chapter of Civil War hits the shelves, which I know a TON of you waiting for with bated breath! Take a big breath and come pick up your copy before someone ruins the story for you!

New Universal #2 – If you enjoyed the first issue of this cool new book by Warren Ellis and Salvador Larocca, then you’ll love seeing where the story goes in issue #2. This story is like a cross between the hit TV show Heroes and J. Michael Straczynski’s Rising Stars series from a few years ago – which means that it’s not necessarily a new concept, but it’s a popular one and it’s Warren Ellis, so it’s really well executed. Cool Stuff.

Ultimate Vision #2 – Alright, I figured the first issue of this limited series was going to be so much wasted paper, but, it turned out, there was a story behind Brandon Peterson’s somwhat gratuitous art, and it was really, really good. I was surprised by how good the first issue was; if you were too and you want to see where this story is going, make sure you pick up issue #2 tomorrow!

See you at Haven!
