Agents of Atlas Premiere HC – This story is a throwback to the pre-FF, pre-Spidey, pre-X-Men Marvel universe of the ‘50s, and it’s awesome. It’s got all the elements of a ‘50s comic you could ever want, the Danger-Will-Robinson type robot, the hot Atlantean Princess, the freaky guy from Saturn, a James Bond type special agent…and a talking gorilla. Sound cheesy? Somehow, it’s not. All the characters have a modern twist that makes them intriguing and compelling, and the flat out cool story just makes it that much better. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Amazons Attack #1 (of 6) - What could compel the Amazons to renounce their peaceful ways and attack America? The answers will prove useless to a country and hero population utterly unprepared for this savage attack. And where is Wonder Woman while all this is going on? Well, if you’re a DC fan, you know you’re going to have to read this one…

Fallen Son: Death of Captain America – Avengers – The fallout of the death of Captain America continues to unfold! Last issue, it was seen from Logan’s perspective. This issue looks at how the Avengers deal with the devastating loss of their leader. Civil War ain’t over, folks!

Hunter’s Moon #1 - The writer of the Academy Award-winning film Ray comes to comics in a big way, kicking off a new series at BOOM only! Stockbroker Lincoln "Linc" Greer, divorced dad, is looking forward to a hot date in a remote cabin for the weekend. When his date cancels and he gets stuck with visitation rights with his son, he takes the boy hunting in the wilds of Oregon. Before he knows it, his son is kidnapped and a voice at the other end of his cell phone tells him to do what he asks - if he ever wants to see his son again! Linc soon finds that he's the only African-American man in this small mostly white logging community. Isolated and alone, he's got to face a contentious community and save his son!

Star Trek: Klingons, Blood Will Tell #1 - If you've been waiting, oh, forever, for a new Star Trek book featuring the original cast, then wait no longer! Here it is, and you know you want it! We've got two editions of this issue available, one in English and one in - you guessed it! - Klingon.

X-Men: First Class #8 – This series, originally planned to be only 8 issues, has proven extremely popular, so Marvel is wising up and making it an ongoing! This is the last issue of the first story arc, but tune in next month for the continuation! It’s a ton of fun reading new stories about Marvel’s first mutants – it’s always good to see the original team together again…before Marvel Girl was Phoenix and before she died…a dozen times. Great stuff!

See you at Haven!
