52 Action Figures Case – Some of your favorite new and/or reintroduced characters from the pages of 52 are now in 3-D and you can get your hands on them! Batwoman, Isis, Booster Gold, Animal Man, and Supernova make up this assortment. These awesome action figures aren’t cheap, but where else are you going to get a freakin’ Booster Gold or Animal Man action figure?! Let me know ASAP if you must have one of these action figures; they’re going on a first come, first served basis!

Astonishing X-Men #21 – As we saw at the end of the last issue, despite what some people may think, some things ARE set in stone. It looks like Colossus really is destined to be the destroyer of the Breakworld! Joss Whedon’s awesome X-Men run is headed for its climactic conclusion, and this issue is really going to rock. I can’t wait!

Avengers Initiative #2 – Alright, I admit it. The first issue of this book surprised me a little bit. That’s an awful lot of covering up Iron Man’s school for superheroes is doing, and this book just got started! What are they going to do when things go wrong on a bigger scale? Does Tony Stark even know what’s happening at this school, that kids are being killed and mutilated? Get in on this book ASAP!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer #3 – Season 8 continues! Joss Whedon’s cult hero, Buffy, carries on the 8th season of her TV show in a slightly different way than most – in comic format! If you’re a Buffy fan, this isn’t like previous incarnations of the comics, this series is canon, officially continuing the Buffy story. You know you want it!

Hellboy: Darkness Calls #1 (of 6) – Finally! A new Hellboy series at last! The long-awaited follow-up to The Island storyline is available; now we can get some more answers about where Hellboy comes from and where it looks like he’s headed.

Incredible Hulk #106 – World War Hulk starts here! Well, officially, it starts in the prologue that also ships this week, but don’t miss this issue of the regular Hulk series. You’re going to want to see where this goes as Planet Hulk is put in the rearview mirror and revenge on the Illuminati is put on the menu!

Marvel Illustrated: Last of the Mohicans #1 – Marvel is really cranking out these classic tales in comic adaptations, and, so far, they’re knocking them out of the park! The adaptations are faithful and well done, and the art work has been awesome. If you’re a fan of classic literature but not necessarily of antiquated writing styles, then this is the series for you! Check it out!

Runaways #26 – As the third and final title in Joss Whedon Week, the second issue of his run on the Runaways title hits the shelves this week, so you know you want to get your hands on that! See what happens to everyone’s favorite band of kids on the lam!

World War Hulk Prologue: World Breaker – You all know World War Hulk is going to turn the Marvel Universe on its ear when Hulk comes back from outer space with vengeance on his mind. Peter David sets up the blockbuster event of the summer in this prologue – don’t miss it!

See you at Haven!
