Annihilation Conquest: Wraith #2 – Conquest continues as the Phalanx tries to take over a universe weakened by last summer’s Annihilation Wave. Wraith, one of the hottest new characters in the Marvel Universe, would be most disappointed if the Phalanx wins, because that would me he didn’t. Definitely check this out!

Black Adam: The Dark Age #1 - Spinning out of the weekly series 52 comes an epic 8-issue mini-series that follows Black Adam, the new ├╝ber-villain of the DCU! With the power of the gods stripped from him, Teth-Adam is on a quest to find not only the magical word that will restore him as Black Adam, but also the one thing that always kept his heart from turning completely black with rage. Black Adam is a man responsible for the deaths of thousands of Bialyan citizens and wide spread destruction across the globe. He is a man on the run from Earth's heroes, who want to see him brought to justice. Some want him tried before a world court, while others want retribution; to exact a pound of flesh for the lives he has snuffed out. And some simply want him dead as quickly and as quietly as possible.

BPRD: The Killing Ground #1 (of 5) – If you’re a fan of Hellboy, then you’re probably a fan of BPRD, the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Development. The adventures of the BPRD are chronicled a lot more frequently than those of Hellboy himself these days, and the art is peculiar, but these are some great books, building on the mythos established from the very beginning of Hellboy and moving towards an epic conclusion. Great stuff!

Dark Tower: Gunslinger’s Guidebook – Okay, the Dark Tower: Gunslinger Born series is over, and if there were a few bits and pieces of the story that were confusing to you, then this is the book for you. This book is the definitive guide to explaining the entire world of Dark Tower – this ought to answer any questions you may have.

Ghosting #1 (of 4) – A college hazing ritual takes a turn for the worse – what happens when someone dies? What happens when this isn’t the first time, and the ghosts of the murdered linger? This new book from Platinum Studios looks to be a really fun ghost story – if that sounds like it might be up your alley, check it out!

Un-Men #1 - They say the freaks come out at night. But in Aberrance, U.S.A., freaks are big business. On the board of directors sit the freakiest freaks of all — birthed in the profane laboratories of Anton Arcane — THE UN-MEN. In this new, ongoing series — masterfully mixing gritty noir, grindhouse horror and gallows humor — an albino agent known as Kilcrop is dispatched by the government to solve the murder of a sideshow attraction called "The Gill-Boy." To uncover the truth, Kilcrop must infiltrate Aberrance, where society's most misshapen outcasts find their own kind of freedom. But with the original Un-Men in charge, Kilcrop must confront a corruption far deeper than the mysterious death of a man who breathes through his neck. And he must deal with his growing love for a one-armed, angel-winged beauty named Niko — an attraction that could prove fatal. The truth he discovers may be the secret hidden within his own outsider's soul. Sounds freaky, but then, these guys were originally villains in Swamp Thing, back when it was, you know, good.

See you at Haven!
