Adam: Legend of the Blue Marvel #2 (OF 5) – In the wake of Anti-Man's devastating attack on New York City, the Mighty Avengers are neutralized, and Iron Man's on a quest for answers! Who was the Blue Marvel? Why did he disappear over 40 years ago? And...what alarming secrets will Iron Man discover about the U.S. government and his own agency of S.H.I.E.L.D.? There are no easy answers in the story of Marvel's newest super hero...

Death-Defying Devil #1 – Spinning out of the events from Project Superpowers Chapter One and bridging the gap before the debut of Project Superpowers Chapter Two, the mysterious 'Devil is put on the case to track down the terrorist organization known as 'The Claw'. Travelling with the equally mysterious Justine, The 'Devil is also shadowed by a new hero that very well may hold the answers to the 'Devil's strange existence, and new clues to the nature of the Urn which imprisoned all of our heroes!

Detective Comics #851 - "Last Days of Gotham" part 1 of 2! Longtime BATMAN writer and editor Dennis O'Neil returns to The Dark Knight for this special two-part tale. Joined by artistic rising star Guillem March (JOKER'S ASYLUM: POISON IVY).O'Neil's "Last Days of Gotham" dives into the soul of a city that has lost its most famous citizen, its favorite son, its beloved protector. How will Gotham City react in the wake of the horrible tragedy that has befallen The Caped Crusader?

Marvel Select Action Figure: Zombie Spider-Man – The grotesque Marvel Zombies Spider-Man action figure is available again! If you missed it the first time around, now is your chance! I’d recommend it for any hardcore Zombie/Spider-Man fan; you won’t find a much better mix of the two than this twisted action figure.

Punisher: War Zone #1 (OF 6) – The latest offering from the red-hot Marvel Knights line reunites the seminal creative team of Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon for a special, weekly-shipping 6-part limited sequel to their legendary story arc, 'Welcome Back, Frank.' It all starts when two mobsters take a trip to the zoo and piss off the wrong monkey. Limbs are lost (the kind you can't easily replace), vultures are fed (with said appendages), and then things get, like, really crazy. Like back-from-the-dead crazy. That's right -- she's back and she wants payback. Ma Gnucci. Eighty-five pounds of hairless, armless, legless evil.

Secret Invasion: Dark Reign – Hot on the heels of Secret Invasion #8, this one-shot sets up the new regime in the Marvel Universe, and it’s not pretty. If you thought Civil War left a lot of true heroes on the run, you ain’t seen nothing yet! This new universe promise a lot of interesting twists and turns before things get back to normal. Definitely check it out!

What If?! Captain America, Fallen Son – Every man, woman and child in the Marvel Universe remembers where they were the day that Captain America died. But what if the event that forever changed the heart of heroics had never actually happened? And what if the hero that helped define the post-Civil War era had fallen in Cap's place? Join us for a tale of death, mourning and rebirth as we ask the question on everyone's mind: 'What if Iron Man had died instead of Captain America?' Featuring Part 2 of a special five part back-up story, 'What if the Runaways Became the Young Avengers?' In this issue... Iron Lad stands revealed!

Wolverine: Flies to a Spider – It's New Year's Eve, and tonight, like every night, they've gathered at the road stop saloon called the 'Rat Trap.' The Road Dawgs. The meanest, nastiest, most jacked-up biker gang you ever could meet. But tonight there's a stranger sitting on the stool at the end of the bar. Someone who's come here to pick a fight. Someone who's hunting far bigger game than these roughnecks, and knows exactly how to get its attention. Before the stroke of midnight, he'll get his wish.

Wonderful Wizard of Oz #1 (OF 8) – The premiere American fantasy adventure gets the Merry Marvel treatment! Eisner Award-winning writer/artist Eric Shanower (Age of Bronze) teams up with fan-favorite artist Skottie Young (New X-Men) to bring L. Frank Baum's beloved classic to life! When Kansas farm girl Dorothy flies away to the magical Land of Oz, she fatally flattens a Wicked Witch, liberates a living Scarecrow and is hailed by the Munchkin people as a great sorceress...but all she really wants to know is: how does she get home?

Ythaq: Forsaken World #1 (of 3) - The first-ever English adaptation of the critically acclaimed European comic-book series from writer Christophe Arleston and artist Adrien Floch, a science-fiction epic adventure that has captivated readers around the world! In space, no one can hear you scream - even if you're screaming for help from deadly mercenaries while trying to survive a crash landing on a strange, new world! Battered by a cosmic storm, the space cruiser Comet's Mist falls toward an unknown planet. Only one man and two women survive: poetic technician Narvath, young and intrepid astronavigator Granite, and beautiful but unbearable and materialistic passenger Callista. Only fate knows what lies ahead.

JOSH- I'm leaving you a comment here in hopes you'll get a blog update at the Haven email tomorrow (Saturday) instead of Monday at your other address.
Check out what I got FOR TOTALLY FREE tonight:

That's exactly what it looks like- first issue, good quality, straight from september 1986. :)Please forgive the fact that I had to take it out of its plastic to get a non-glare photo. The fact that it's a blurry shot is entirely my fault, though.
